Richard J. St. Amour

President

Mr. St. Amour is president of Marathon Pipe Line LLC (MPL).

Mr. St. Amour joined Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) in 1996 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility, including engineering supervisor and engineering manager for Marketing and Transportation Engineering, mechanical and vapor control manager, and area manager for Terminal, Transport, and Marine. Mr. St. Amour has held leadership roles at MPL, including Operations and Logistics Manager, Ohio Valley Region Manager, and Engineering and Maintenance Manager. In 2019, he was appointed Vice President of Logistics and Engineering. He assumed his current position in 2022.

Mr. St. Amour holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University. He is a member of the American Petroleum Institute (API), Liquid Energy Pipeline Association (LEPA), and the API-LEPA Pipeline Safety Excellence Steering Committee. He serves on the board of directors for the Damage Prevention Action Center.
