Marathon Pipe Line LLC (MPL) will clear approximately 5,500 miles of pipeline right of way in 15 states by 2007 as a part of a multi-year initiative to safeguard our pipeline assets, the environment and the public. Higher expectations by regulators and the public have combined to make MPL more assertive in managing its right-of-way assets. Safety for the public, the environment and our pipeline assets makes this a “must do” project.
